In this title, a spin cycle take them to meet President Lincoln. Authors Michael John Sullivan and Susan Petrone do a great job at keeping the story fun and educational for younger history readers. The CGI illustrations by Sugar Snail brings each character to life -humans and socks!
I liked that the series provided the opportunity to introduce our preschooler to history in a humorous way. Even I had a giggle about the thought of Abraham Lincoln getting up to make his big speech wearing mismatched socks! We will definitely be on the look at for more books in this cute series.
