All about cats unit -Grade 1-2

Both Piwis had fun with the long awaited cat study we did. Ever since we adopted Perry, Miss K had been asked to do a cat lap book. We finally had the chance and I thought Mini Piwi could try her first ever tot book from 1+1+1=1.  I will post Mini Piwi's kitty fun in another post since it ended up being a lot of activities..

Most of miss Miss K's activities came from the free Homeschool share Cat Lapbook and unit study.

Perry was the star of the cover!
In the 'Cat watching' mini book Miss K recorded her half- hourly observations of Perry's activity (or inactivity)

Piwi Father's Day Keepsake 2012

Miss K had a big day planned for Daddy Piwi! Over the past week they made Tie dyed T-shirts to wear at the Luau themed party. We also completed Amanda Bennet's FathersDay unit study and Lapbook. The kids got to think about all the things that make their Daddy special. The Piwi's also learnt a lot about his heritage.

I hope we can do it again next year1 Imagine how fun it will be to look back at each one as the kids get older!

Making a Fathers' Day crown

The Final product! Covered with Stickers! Daddy loved it!
